ALLEZ
“Allez” is a French term used in fencing to start a bout, meaning “go” or “begin.” It signifies action, encouragement, and readiness. By using “Allez” in the logo, the academy aligns itself with the traditional commands in fencing, emphasizing its connection to the sport’s roots and the dynamic, competitive spirit of fencing.
JOHOR
“Johor” represents the state in Malaysia where the academy is located. Including “Johor” in the logo underscores the academy’s
regional identity and commitment to promoting fencing within the local community. It signifies pride in the academy’s home state and its goal to develop and nurture local talent. We are proud to be Bangsa Johor.
FENCER IN FLECH POSITION
The silhouette of the fencer in the fleche position captures a moment of dynamic action and athleticism. The fleche, a fencing attack where the fencer dashes forward, symbolizes agility, precision, and forward movement.
COLOR
The colors blue and red are synonymous with Johor, as seen in the state flag. Blue often represents professionalism, stability, and depth, while red signifies energy, passion, and determination. These colors not only pay homage to Johor but also embody the qualities essential to the sport of fencing.
TYPOGRAPHY
The bold, uppercase font used for “ALLEZ” and “JOHOR” conveys strength and reliability. It’s clear and authoritative, reflecting the academy’s solid foundation and commitment to high standards.
This logo effectively combines elements that reflect the spirit of fencing, the local identity of Johor, and the dynamic nature of the sport, making it a strong representation of Allez Johor Fencing Academy’s values and mission.
