I, hereby declare the following upon joining Allez Johor Fencing Academy (referred to as the “Club”) as a member:
- I understand that participating in fencing involves physical activity and carries certain risks of injury. I voluntarily choose to participate in club activities, including training sessions, workshops, competitions, and any other related events, fully aware of these risks.
- I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult with a medical professional and ensure that I am physically fit to engage in fencing activities. I will promptly inform the Club’s management of any medical conditions, injuries, or changes in my health status that may affect my ability to participate safely.
- I agree to comply with the Club’s rules, policies, and codes of conduct. I will treat fellow members, coaches, staff, and facilities with respect, fairness, and good sportsmanship.
- I understand that the Club may capture and use photographs, videos, or other media during club activities for promotional and educational purposes. I grant the Club the right to use my likeness in such media without any compensation.
- I acknowledge that the Club and its representatives may provide guidance, coaching, and instructions regarding fencing techniques, safety protocols, and other relevant matters. I will follow these instructions to the best of my ability, with the understanding that the Club assumes no liability for any injury or damage resulting from my failure to do so.
- I agree to promptly pay the membership fees and any other associated costs as specified by the Club. I understand that membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the Club’s refund policy.
- I release the Club, its management, coaches, staff, volunteers, and representatives from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage that may arise from my participation in club activities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- I understand that the Club does not provide personal insurance coverage for its members.
These Administration Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the administrative policies and procedures that apply to all members of Allez Johor Fencing Academy (referred to as the “Club”). By becoming a member of the Club, you (“Member”) agree to comply with the following:
- Membership Registration and Information:
1.1. The Member shall provide accurate and up-to-date personal information during the registration process. It is the Member’s responsibility to inform the Club of any changes to their contact details or other relevant information.
1.2. The Club will handle the Member’s personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Club’s Privacy Policy. - Code of Conduct:
2.1. The Member shall adhere to the Club’s code of conduct, which includes but is not limited to:
2.1.1. Respecting fellow members, coaches, staff, and facilities.
2.1.2. Demonstrating good sportsmanship and fair play.
2.1.3. Following the instructions and guidance of the Club’s coaches and staff.
2.1.4. Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
2.2. The Club reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership, in cases of serious violations of the code of conduct. - Membership Fees and Payment:
3.1. The Member agrees to pay the membership fees as specified by the Club. Payment shall be made according to the agreed-upon schedule or terms.
3.2. Late payment or non-payment of membership fees may result in the suspension or termination of membership, at the Club’s discretion.
3.3. Membership fees are subject to periodic review and may be adjusted by the Club. Any changes to membership fees will be communicated to the Member in advance. - Training Sessions and Events:
4.1. The Club will provide a schedule of training sessions, workshops, competitions, and other events. The Member is responsible for familiarising themselves with the schedule and attending sessions promptly.
4.2. The Member shall notify the Club in advance if they are unable to attend a scheduled session due to illness, injury, or other valid reasons. - Facilities and Equipment:
5.1. The Member shall use the Club’s facilities and equipment responsibly and in accordance with the Club’s guidelines and instructions.
5.2. Any damage to the Club’s facilities or equipment caused by the Member’s negligence or misconduct may result in the Member being held financially responsible for repairs or replacement. - Termination:
6.1. Either party may terminate the membership by providing written notice to the other party, subject to any specific termination clauses stated within this Contract.
6.2. The Club reserves the right to terminate the membership without notice for serious violations of the Club’s policies, misconduct, or behaviour deemed harmful to other members or the Club’s reputation. - Amendments:
7.1. The Club reserves the right to modify or amend these Administration Terms and Conditions. Any changes will be communicated to the Member in writing or via the Club’s official communication channels.
7.2. It is the Member’s responsibility to review and understand any amendments to these Terms. Continued membership with the Club after the effective date of the amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
